A. = χρῴζω, touch the surface of a body, and generally, touch, Ἥβας χροΐζει λέχος E. Heracl. 915(lyr.), cf. Pi. Fr. 139.6(Med.):—Med., touch another's skin with one's own, lie with, τινι, of a woman, Theocr.10.18 (in Dor. fut. χροϊξεῖται).
