Sc. 348 we have a shorter form of 3 pl. aor. 1, χρέμισαν, asif from χρεμίζω. (Cf. χρόμη, χρόμαδος, OE. gremettan, grymettan 'to roar', OSlav. v[ucaron]z-gr[icaron]měti 'to thunder'.)
