A. give with the hand, χειροδοτεῖ τρόπον ἀλείπτου καὶ πρὸς τὰ γυμνάσια καλεῖ Ph. 1.640 codd. (χειροδετεῖ binds his hands with the cestus, cj. Wyttenbach; συγκροτεῖ cj. Mangey).
