A. thrice-blest, Od. 6.154, 155, Ar. Pax 1332, AP 5.254.17 (Paul. Sil.), etc.:—the divided form τρὶς μάκαρ is supported by the phrase τρὶς μάκαρες καὶ τετράκις in Od. 5.306 (τρισμάκαρες codd.), cf. Hes. Fr. 81.7 and τρισμακάριστος.
