2. extremity, crisis, in a disease, ἐπὴν τὸ τ. ᾖ τοῦ πάθεος Hp. Mul. 2.125 (v.l. τὸ στερεόν), cf. Erot. and Gal. l.c.: hence, the end, i.e. death, E. Fr. 371. (Cf. τέρμα.)
