συννοέω

A. meditate, reflect upon a thing, τἀξ ἐμοῦ παλαίφατα S. OC 453, cf. Pl. Smp. 220c, Phdr. 241c, Lg. 712d, PTeb. 24.30 (ii B.C.); ς. τί τις χρήσεται think what one can do with it, Pl. Lg. 835d:—Med., ἐν ἐμαυτῷ τι συννοούμενος E. Or. 634, cf. Ion 644.
2. make plans, πάντα ‐οῦμεν ἐκπράξειν χερί Patrocl. 1.5.
II. comprehend, understand, Pl. Tht. 164a, al.: c. part., ς. τινὰ μανθάνοντα Id. Epin. 976b, cf. Plu. Pomp. 74: folld. by a relat., ς. ὅτι . . understand that . . , Pl. Plt. 280b, Arist. Pol. 1284a32; ς. ὡς . . Pl. Sph. 238c, etc.:—Med., Ar. Ra. 598 (lyr.).
