Hercules Furens

drama

Hercules returns from the underworld, his labours complete, to find his family threatened by a tyrant. He saves them — then Juno drives him mad, and he murders his wife and children in a frenzy, believing them to be enemies. When he wakes and sees what he has done, the strongest man alive must decide whether to live with it. A tragedy about the gap between heroism and humanity.
