II. One who held the balance, as if to weigh out money, at nominal sales: adhibitis non minus quam V. testibus civibus Romanis puberibus, item libripende, Gai. Inst. 1, § 113; Ulp. Fragm. 19, 3; cf. Plin. 33, 3, 13, § 43.
